No Charges Pending After Man Jumps From Moving Car in Casper
A man jumped out of a moving car Tuesday evening, and Casper police found the driver -- but they say no charges are pending in connection with the incident.
Sgt. Mike Ogden says alcohol was involved, but investigators have no reason to believe that drugs played a role.
The unidentified man jumped from a car on Wyoming Boulevard near Bank of the West at about 6 p.m. Tuesday. He was taken to Wyoming Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Ogden says the man suffered road rash, but no broken bones.
The driver of the car didn't stop. Ogden says police have since found the driver, and she currently faces no charges.
The man and woman were not fighting at the time the man bailed out of the moving car, Ogden says, but they had been fighting previously. They were in a relationship.
According to Ogden, the pair had just left the Interstate Inn when the man jumped out of the car.
The investigation is concluded.
