Through initial investigation and on-scene evidence, Natrona County Sheriff's deputies determined the incident was isolated and there was no threat to the public.

According to the post, the case started on Wednesday, May 24, when officers were called to Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County on an original report of an assault.
The calf had been separated from its mother when the herd crossed the Lamar River. As the calf struggled, the man pushed the calf up from the river and onto the roadway.
