Casper Police Investigating ‘Critical Incident’

UPDATE: One man is in custody and another man is being sought by local, state and federal authorities following a chase and abduction of a 95-year-old woman allegedly perpetrated by the pair on Tuesday. Click here to read more. 

Casper police say they are investigating what they are calling a "critical incident."

Sgt. Joey Wilhelm was unable to provide further details at a press briefing Wednesday morning, citing the ongoing investigation.

When asked, Wilhelm said there is currently "minimal" danger to the public.

More details are expected to be released this afternoon.
