There's a big bunch of barrel racers in the Central Rocky Mountain Region and for one of them to win both rounds at a college rodeo along with clocking the only finish under fifteen seconds is a real feat. University of Wyoming all-around cowgirl Kelsey Lensegrav was justifiably happy about her accomplishments at the regional competition hosted by Casper College last weekend. The UW women are in a hotly-contested battle with Eastern Wyoming College for a team qualification to the nationals and they'll square off one last time this weekend in Laramie. Individually, Lensegrav earned 180 points - the maximum possible - in Casper moving up to the #2 position in the region's barrel racing standings. The top three qualify for a spot at the college national finals. Lensegrav was heavily recruited out of Kadoka High School in South Dakota and the UW freshman now owns her first college rodeo champion's buckle.
