According to police reports, at about 3:30 Wednesday morning, a masked man with his hand in his jacket pocket made off with an undisclosed amount of cash from the Common Cents gas station at 632 N. Poplar Street.

Casper Police Department's  Sergeant Steve Shultz believes that there is a strong connection between this crime and possibly three other convenience store robberies that have taken place over the past month and a half.

"A week or two back, a male subject had entered the Red Eagle, had his hand in his pocket, kind of indicating that he may or may not have a weapon. Instructed the clerk to give him some money he was given money, then fled the area. The robbery today is very similar in nature, the suspects description, height, build, in the same circumstances as before at the Red Eagle. Here at the one at Common Cents on Poplar, enters the store, somewhat wearing dark colored clothing, his face is obscured, has a hand in a pocket, and is demanding cash from the clerk."

Details are limited as the incident is still under investigation. Anyone with information regarding this crime or any criminal activity, should call the Crime Stoppers Tip line at 577-8477.
