Smoke From BLM Burns May Be Visible In Casper
If you see smoke south of Casper over the next couple of days, there's likely no cause for alarm. The Bureau of Land Management High Plains District is going to be conducting large burns in the Bates Hole area starting Tuesday March 5th, and continuing until Thursday March 7th.
According to the Natrona County Fire District, the column of smoke will be visible from Highway 487 and may be seen from Casper and surrounding areas.
