Natrona County Firefighters Working Small Fire on Casper Mountain

Natrona County firefighters responded to a lightning-caused fire on Casper Mountain at 3:21 p.m. Wednesday.

Located at the end of Archery Range Road on Casper Mountain, BLM High Plains District and Casper Mountain Fire crews are also on-scene.

The fire started as a single-tree lightning strike and turned into a 1/10-acre fire, the department said on social media.

Crews will remain on-scene until the fire is contained.
