Man Arrested as Police Investigate Riverton Homicide [UPDATED]
UPDATE:
The suspect has been identified as 27-year-old Florin Brandon Wyatt, of Riverton.
He has been formally charged with second-degree murder in the killing of his roommate, who has not been identified, according to Riverton Police Captain Eric Murphy.

Police believe a Riverton man killed his roommate at some point over the last few days.
The suspect is in custody, Riverton Police Captain Eric Murphy said Tuesday. His name has not been released.
Police have also not yet released the name of the victim, pending notification of family.
Murphy says police went to a house in the 900 block of West Park after someone called police Sunday morning to report the victim was dead inside his home.
Officers found the victim dead under what appeared to be suspicious circumstances, Murphy says. Neighbors told police they hadn't seen the victim, who was in his 50s, since Thursday afternoon.
"Almost immediately, we realized that his vehicle was missing," Murphy said, adding that the victim's roommate -- who is in his 20s -- was also missing.
Police put out an 'attempt to locate' notification to other law enforcement agencies and, using technology that Murphy declined to detail, found the roommate in the victim's car in the Cheyenne area.
Riverton police contacted the Cheyenne Police Department and the Wyoming Highway Patrol. Troopers reportedly found the victim's roommate outside Cheyenne on his way to Nebraska.
The roommate, now a homicide suspect, was arrested for possession of the victim's vehicle. Murphy says Riverton police expect a warrant for the roommate's arrest in connection with the homicide to be issued at any time.
Due to the complexity of the crime scene, the Wyoming State Crime Lab is assisting in the investigation, Murphy says.
An autopsy of the victim is set for Wednesday. Murphy says police know how the victim died, but those details are not being released at this point.
