Casper and Natrona County fire units have been battling several grass fires in the area, likely started by lightning from the storms passing through the area.

Emergency Management Coordinator Lt. Stewart Anderson Tells K2 News there were four fires total in the area Friday afternoon.

There was one at the south end of Hat Six road. One was fought off Highway 487 on the back side of Muddy Mountain.

And crews contained two fires in the Narrows off Highway 220.

Anderson says all fires are under control.
