Jonah Bank offers high school senior scholarships.

Jonah Bank of Wyoming and its network, Accel/Exchange, are offering fifty thousand dollars in scholarship grants to graduating high school seniors.

Robin Wallingford is the operations manager for Jonah Bank.

"Basically, our debit card partner which is Accel/Exchange, is participating in the 2011 education exchange college grant program which filters down to Jonah Bank here in Casper and in Cheyenne, along with probably thousands of other financial institutions throughout the United States."

The program is open to any college-bound high school senior that is graduating in 2011. To be considered, students must complete an application that's available at both Jonah Bank locations in Casper and in Cheyenne.

"A total of four, five-thousand dollar grants and thirty, one-thousand dollar grants will be awarded in July to these seniors that are chosen for the program."

The entry deadline is March fifteenth with recipients being selected in May and notified in June.
