The Natrona County Commissioners' Office has announced that they are offering three scholarships to Casper student 2023-2024 academic year.

Casper College announced that the parents of Casper Police Lieutenant Danny Dundas, David and Karla Dundas, have established a scholarship for Casper College in honor of their late son.

The bill would have increased the amount awarded through the scholarships by $3.6 million annually.

Officials say another bill would allow students to petition for a funding increase based on maintaining a high GPA.

A yet-to-be-established endowment would fund the program.

The plates were introduced in 2018 and honor the Eastern Shoshone and Northern Arapaho tribes.

The money is awarded to the counties from the governor.

Nontraditional students at the University of Wyoming will have more options for financial assistance after the university secured a grant to provide them with need-based scholarships.
