A Hazardous Materials Drill was held Thursday at Casper's post office on Forest Drive.

According to Crime Prevetion Officer for Casper P.D., Joe Nickerson, the Bio-Hazard Detection System Event Training started as if systems within the post office had detected a bio-hazardous material.

Several emergency agency vehicles were on scene in the East loading dock area of the Post Office, Casper Fire EMS were the main players.

The Post Office initiated the drill with Natrona County Emergency Management, Casper Police and the Health Department also participating.

Officer Nickerson says that the Post Office does the training exercises on a regular basis.

The Post Office was open for regular business during the drill.
