According to Detective John Hatcher, the first incident occurred July 12th, when a bullet was shot through the wall of a residence int he 2400 block of Boots Drive and struck a mirror. The second happened on July 14th in the 700 block of East 8th Street. This time the front windshield of a vehicle was shot, and the bullet went through the driver's seat before exiting the back of the vehicle.
