Casper Woman Arrested on Drug Charges After Argument
Casper police on Wednesday arrested a woman on three drug charges after another woman called police to report an attempted fight.
Kelly Rose Krog, 41, was booked into jail on recommended charges of possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine and possession of Adderall.
Shortly before 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, an officer responded to a residence in the 700 block of Landmark Drive for a reported disturbance. The woman who called police had told dispatch that Krog tried to fight her and refused to leave the residence.
The woman told the officer that Krog had left the residence on foot, and believed Krog had a warrant out for her arrest. The officer found Krog a short time later.
Krog told the officer that she and her sister -- the woman who called police -- had gotten into an argument. Krog was living with the other woman, and that woman told Krog to move out because of Krog's ongoing medical issues. The argument never turned physical.
The officer was advised by dispatch that Krog did have a confirmed warrant for her arrest. When she was told that she would be taken to jail, Krog said she wanted her handbag and purse taken to her storage unit.
The officer told her that Krog would have to take her belongings with her to jail, as officers couldn't make special trips to drop off property. Krog reportedly became extremely nervous and said that she didn't want anyone going through her bags.
Krog later allegedly admitted that a marijuana pipe would be found in one of her bags. The officer also found two small plastic bags containing a powdery, white residue, which Krog reportedly said was methamphetamine.
A yellow prescription bottle containing Adderall was also found in Krog's bag. Krog had no prescription for the pills.
In Krog's purse, the officer allegedly found a clear glass pipe containing suspected meth residue.
