Casper Police Arrest Man for DUI After Woman Hit by Vehicle
A woman was treated for injuries that weren't life-threatening after an impaired driver allegedly hit her outside of Wyoming Medical Center Wednesday, a police spokeswoman said.
The incident happened at the intersection of 2nd Street and Conwell.
The man was arrested for DUI and possession of marijuana following the incident that was called in at 10:45 a.m.
Casper Police Department Public Information Officer Rebekah Ladd said the driver did have a green light but still failed to yield to the woman in the crosswalk. The man, who had not yet been named, was the only person in the vehicle.
Emergency room staff came outside and took the woman inside to treat her.
