Firefighters are investigating after an apparent garage fire in Casper on Monday morning.

Casper Fire-EMS spokesperson Patrick McJunkin said crews were called to the residence in the 1000 block of South Cedar Street at around 8 a.m. to extinguish the blaze.

“Our crews initially arrived to find smoke coming from a single-vehicle garage facing the alley,” McJunkin said. “They were able to make entry and extinguish a contents fire inside the structure.”

McJunkin said says no injuries were reported during the blaze. A cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
