[UPDATE] Suspect, Victim Identified In Casper Shooting
Update 4:20pm - A Casper man could face the death penalty following the shooting death of his wife.
Forty-six-year-old Thomas Miller is charged with first-degree murder, aggravated assault and two counts of child endangerment.
Police say just before midnight on Tuesday, March 26th, Natalie Miller called 911, claiming her husband was going to kill her.
While en route to the 2500 block of Desmet Drive, officers received another call from a neighbor saying shots had been fired.
When they arrived, they found Natalie bleeding on a front door step suffering from apparent gun shot wounds.
Emergency medical personnel later declared her dead at the scene.
Another person at the Miller's home at the time said Thomas and Natalie got into an argument over money earlier in the evening.
When the conversation ended, prosecutors say Thomas got his .45 caliber gun, and when Natalie realized what was going on, she tried to flee.
She ran to a neighbor's house, where investigators say she was shot by Thomas.
He is being held without bond.
Police are investigating to see if alcohol had anything to with Thomas' actions.
Update 2:30 p.m. - Forty-six-year-old Thomas Miller made an initial court appearance Wednesday afternoon on charges stemming from the shooting death of 34-year-old Natalie Miller. Prosecutors say the man shot Natalie Miller at shortly after midnight during a domestic dispute. He is charged with 1st Degree Murder and Aggravated Assault and is being held without bond.
Update 11:00 a.m. - Officials with the Casper Police Department say a man is in custody following an incident at 2535 DeSmet early Wednesday morning. Officers were dispatched to the scene shortly after midnight following reports of gunfire and screaming. Police Sgt. Deann Ahmend said a 34-year-old woman died from undisclosed injuries and a man was taken into custody. Their names have not been made public. Ahmend added that it appears alcohol played a role in what appeared to be a domestic violence incident.
