Here are the results from the six Wyoming High School Cross Country State Championship divisions on Oct. 26, 2019.

Conference Cross Country Championships – Saturday, Oct. 26

2A Results -  Big Horn, Glenrock, Moorcroft, Pine Bluffs, Rock River, Sundance, Thermopolis, Tongue River, Wright, Lovell, Rocky Mountain, Saratoga, St Stephens Indian, Wyoming Indian

Wyoming Indian freshman Paris Barrera won the race by five seconds over three-time defending champion Hailey Jones of Moorcroft. Barrera's winning time was 20:13.57. The Chiefs won the girls' team crown by 26 points over Lovell. It's Wyoming Indian's first-ever girls' team state championship.

On the boys' side, the Barlett brothers, both freshmen, from Saratoga went 1-2. Grant Bartlett won the race in 17:04.58, which was 33 seconds ahead of his brother Grady. Saratoga won the team title by four points over the runner-up, Tongue River. This is the third title in the last four years for the Panthers.

3A Results - Buffalo, Douglas, Newcastle, Rawlins, Torrington, Wheatland, Worland, Cody, Lander, Lyman, Mountain View, Powell, Riverton, Star Valley

Rawlins junior star Sydney Thorvaldson won her third consecutive state championship in Class 3A by nearly two minutes. Her winning time was 17:32.69, a new state meet record. It was the Cody Fillies winning the team title by 17 points over Star Valley. This was the first title for Cody since 2013 and just the third in school history.

In the boys' 5K race, Star Valley's Peter Visser defended his title with a win by 29 seconds. Visser crossed the tape in 16:01.26. The Braves won the team crown by 29 points over Lander. It's their seventh team title in the last eight years.

4A Results Campbell County, Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Sheridan, Thunder Basin, Evanston, Green River, Jackson, Kelly Walsh, Laramie, Natrona County, Rock Springs

Laramie's Abigail Whitman topped the field in 19:11.99. Her margin of victory was close to 29 seconds. The Natrona County Fillies repeated as team champions. They finished 13 points better than runner-up Cheyenne Central. It's the seventh in school history for the NC ladies.

Cheyenne Central's Trevor Stephen (16:26.90) won the 5K race in Class 4A boys by seven seconds over Laramie's Mason Swingholm. The Sheridan boys won the team title for the first time in school history. They beat Central by 17 points.
