World Champion Tim O’Connell Shines at CFD [VIDEO]

Three-time and reigning world champion bareback rider Tim O'Connell gave fans reason to cheer at Cheyenne Frontier Days on Thursday. He blasted out on Hi-Lo Pro Rodeo's 'American Hustle' carding the high mark of the day at 89.5 points. The Iowa man has won 'The Daddy' before and is on track to do it again only this time he's coming back from a serious shoulder injury inflicted at the end of his Wrangler National Finals Rodeo tenth-round ride last December. O'Connell's riding arm left shoulder was literally blown out. He spent four hours under the knife in January and while not even close to 100 percent you couldn't tell by his first Cheyenne ride.
