Woman Survives Deer Attack
An Idaho man and woman are recuperating from a weekend attack by a mule deer. The woman was walking near her home near Logan, Utah on Friday morning when she was attacked by a buck mule deer. She was knocked to the ground and the deer began raking her body and gored her legs with its antlers. She was rescued by a passerby. The rescuer grabbed the deer by its antlers while his teen daughter struck the deer with a hammer. The deer eventually fled. Local television station, KPVI, reports, the man and woman were both treated for puncture wounds, scratches and bruises.
