There will be no garbage collection on Thursday for the Thanksgiving holiday.

All residents on the city's Thursday trash collection route will be serviced on Friday, November 25th, and residents on the city’s Friday trash collection route will be serviced on Saturday, November 26th.

Residents are advised to have their dumpsters placed on the street next to the sidewalk curb by 7:00 AM.

The City of Casper Regional Solid Waste Facility will also be closed on Thanksgiving Day.  The solid waste facility will be open from 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM Friday and Saturday, November 25th and 26th.

Residents are also reminded to dispose of cooking oil from turkey fryers properly.  Cooking oil from fryers should be cooled, poured into a seal-able container and taken to the Special Waste and Diversion Facility located across the street from the landfill. Cooking Oil disposal is free of charge.  Other grease and fats from cooking should be poured into a container, allowed to cool, and when solidified, thrown into the trash.
