The Casper College basketball teams had a productive road trip to Rock Springs on Saturday as both the men and the women posted wins over Western Wyoming. The nationally ranked T-Bird men beat WWCC 86-73 to improve to 18-2 on the year. Wil Likayi was Casper's leading scorer with 21. Amin Adamu chipped in 20 and Isaac Bonton contributed 14. The Birds led that game by 14 at halftime and never looked back. The Casper College women improved to 15-4 overall with a 73-61 win over Western Wyoming on Saturday afternoon. Former Natrona County High School product Jaye Johnson threw in 18 for the T-Birds with Maggie Justinak turning in a strong performance with 17. C.C. put this game away in the 2nd half, outscoring Western Wyoming by 14. Both Casper College teams will be in the road in Torrington to meet Eastern Wyoming on Wednesday night.
