Power Restored for Thousands in Glenrock Area Amid Storm [UPDATED]

Power has been restored for thousands of Rocky Mountain Power customers in the Glenrock area, though some small outages affecting a handful of folks continue into the afternoon.

Over 2,000 customers are without power in the Glenrock area this morning due to multiple power outages.
According to Rocky Mountain Power, the largest outage is impacting 2,281 customers in the 82633, 82609 and 82637 zip codes. The result of a damaged power line, it was first reported at 8:34 a.m. Sunday. Crews are assessing the situation; as of 11 a.m., the company did not have an estimated time for a fix.
Two other outages, impacting a combined 196 customers, were reported with roughly 10 minutes of each other shortly before 9 a.m. They are both also the result of damaged power line, with no estimated time for power to be restored to those customers.
A winter storm moving through the area is dumping snow and bringing strong wind gusts. Up to four inches of snow is expected to accumulate in the Casper area through 6 p.m.
