‘The One & Only': New Tourism Campaign Launched for Casper
A new campaign aimed at marketing Casper and Natrona County as a unique destination is set to launch in January.
Dubbed 'The One & Only,' the 12-month campaign will include print ad placements in vacation guides and digital advertising in the target markets of Colorado, Wyoming, California, Texas and Minnesota.
"Casper, Wyoming is the only place in the world named Casper," Visit Casper CEO Brook Kaufman said in a news release Wednesday. "This new campaign celebrates everything that makes Casper a distinct destination.
Visit Casper, the official destination management organization for Natrona County, recently relaunched its website as well.
Casper has had significant success drawing tourists in recent years, including events surrounding the total eclipse of 2017. Tourism is Wyoming's second-largest industry, with visitor spending reported at $3.8 billion in 2018.
"With a destination as diverse as Casper, sometimes it's hard to identify one thing that makes it travel-worthy," Amanda Scherlin, marketing manager for Visit Casper, said in Wednesday's statement. "For this campaign, we focused on only-in-Casper experiences, from traveling the Oregon Trail by covered wagon to catching the fish of a lifetime on the North Platte River."
