Visit Casper has revealed the five finalists for the businesses that will receive up to $50,000 in CARES Act funding.

The Casper Area Chamber of Commerce wants your ideas for what the theme of this year's Christmas parade should be.

The answer was the 5150' Festival - an all day event featuring live music, food trucks, games, face painting, and more. 2021 marked the third year of the festival (it took 2020 off because, well, you know) and despite a few looming rain clouds, it went about as perfectly as one could hope.

Visit Casper, the official destination management organization for Natrona County, announced that they are launching the 'Visit Casper Business Challenge.'

The David Street Station has announced that musical artist Ian Munsick has to cancel his performance at the 5150' Festival this Saturday, August 21, due to a member of his road team contracting COVID-19.

The College National Finals Rodeo is returning to Casper this summer, and various community members are offering their support, including 17 hotels that are donating 70 rooms and up to 840 room nights. In total, the value of this move equals $114,515.64.

Visit Casper gave out $164,000 in grant money over the past year to 14 different organizations across the city.

In celebration of the Ford Wyoming Event Center's upcoming 40th anniversary, city council has agreed to provide the center with $50,000 to for its continued operation.
