The Natrona County Sheriff's Office was recently checking to make sure that those who serve alcohol, were not selling it to minors.

An alcohol compliance check was done at 12 businesses in the county during the weekend of November 20th and 21st.

Underaged confidential informants with legal identification, visited various establishments, and were accompanied by deputies who were of age.

The younger ones attempted to purchase alcoholic beverages, and of the 12 businesses, servers at two of the places, did not attempt to check for ID.

The servers were cited for providing alcohol to minors, which is a misdemeanor offense.

Servers at the other 10 businesses did check for ID and did not serve the alcohol.
