T-Birds Sweep LCCC

The Casper College basketball teams continued their marvelous seasons with victories over LCCC in Cheyenne on Saturday afternoon.  The T-Bird men outlasted the Eagles 94-81 to improve to 22-2 and 7-1 in the Region IX sub region. Five Casper players were in double figures led by Broc Finstuen with 20 points and he hauled down 13 rebounds. Wil Lakayi threw in 17 and Isaac Bonton contributed 16. C.C. took a whopping 85 shots in the game and owned the backboards 58-39.

The Casper College women's team beat LCCC on Saturday 82-72 thanks to a combined 38 points from Lucie Hoskova and Maggie Justinak. Both players were 8-13 from the field with Justinak pulling down 13 rebounds and Hoskova 10. The Lady T-Birds are 19-5 overall and have won all 8 of their region IX sun region games. Both Casper College teams will host Gillette on Wednesday night.
