T-Birds Sweep Eastern Wyoming

The Casper College basketball teams continued their winning ways with road victories over Eastern Wyoming in Torrington on Wednesday night. The T-Bird men are now ranked 12th in the country and defeated the Lancers 80-70. Isaac Bonton threw in 33 points for Casper on 9-22 from the field. Will Lakayi had 13 on 5-10 from the floor as the Birds improved to 19-2 on the year. The Casper College women roasted Eastern Wyoming 103-69 as Maggie Justinak led the way with 24 and Jaye Johnson contributed 22. That win hoisted the Birds overall record to 16-4. Both Casper College teams will host Northwest of Powell on Saturday afternoon at the Erickson Gym.
