T-Birds Enter 2nd Round of Region IX Tournament

The Casper College men's and women's basketball teams continue with March Madness on Thursday in their respective Region IX Tournaments. The T-Bird men soundly defeated Gillette College on Saturday in Casper 105-70 as Keiron Goodwin had 20 points and Wil Layaki added 18. Casper College is now 29-2 on the year will play Trinidad in the 2nd round of the Region IX tournament that will be held in Sheridan. That contest will be on Thursday at 1pm. The Thunderbird women's team beat Northwest of Powell on Friday night 81-39 as Lucie Hoskova led the way with 17 points. Casper improved to 25-6 on the year and will meet Otero on Thursday night at 6pm in Scottsbluff, Nebraska
