Casper College's first trip to the men's National Basketball Tournament in Hutchinson, Kansasin 23 years was a short one as the Birds were defeated by Cleveland State from Tennessee 90-83. The T-Birds at times were lethargic and trailed by as many as 7 in the first half and 10 in the half.  Casper had 16 turnovers but were also whistled for 30 fouls in the contest. Isaac Bonton led Casper College in scoring with 32 points in 10-30 from the field while Amin Adamu had 14. Wilfried Layaki who was averaging 17 points per game was held to just 9. Cleveland State shot 39% from the floor but did connect on 7, 3 pointers. They were led by Jonathon King with 21. Casper's season comes to an end with a record of 32-3.
