The 7th ranked Casper College men's basketball team dropped to 17-2 on the year as they were defeated by Sheridan College at the Golden Dome on Wednesday night 97-87. The Generals enjoyed a tremendous shooting night, going 52% from the floor in the first half and 61% in the 2nd half. Sheridan led by 15 at halftime and withstood a Casper College rally in the 2nd half. The T-Birds were led in scoring by Will Liyaki with 22 and Amin Adamu has 20 points and 10 rebounds.

The Casper College women's team beat Sheridan on Wednesday 76-62 so the Birds improved to 14-4 overall and 3-0 in Region IX conference play. Lucie Hoskova led the way with 26 and former NCHS player Jaye Johnson had 17. Both Casper College teams will be in Rock Springs on Saturday to meet Western Wyoming
