A day long range land management seminar next week is open to the public. The Wyoming Society for Range Management in conjunction with the University of Wyoming Cooperative Extension Service is offering the program Tuesday April 26 at Casper College.

"A brief description  is how to manage grazing on the range land to not only benefit the livestock but to benefit the land. Either keep it in good condition or improve it if there needs to be improvement."

Blaine Horn, UW extension educator, says the program sets the foundation for understanding range land grazing management and will serve anyone working with those issues.

Horn will be one of several instructors for the day from Forest Service specialist to water management and animal behavioral specialists.

There is a $20 fee to attend the program. Contact Blaine Horn at 307-684-7522 for more information.
