It was the annual Volleybowl on Tuesday night as Kelly Walsh played host to their cross-town rival Natrona. KW won it all in 4A a year ago and are poised to do it again thanks to a couple of Division 1 signees. Corin Carruth has signed on with the University of Wyoming while Danilynn Schell will be going to Wisconson-Green Bay. The Trojans overpowered the Fillies in the first set 25-2 using superior power at the net. NC had a hard time dealing with that but settled down in the 2nd set but still lost 25-22. Kelly Walsh kept pounding away and won the 3rd set 25-14 to improve to 28-1 on the year. The Trojans will host Rock Springs on Saturday while Natrona at 12-14 on the year will host Thunder Basin on Friday and Gillette on Saturday. Volleyball regionals will be next week and the State Tournament will be November 7-8-9 at the Casper Events Center. Here are some of the video highlights of Tuesday night's match.
