Lady T-Birds Split Games in Air Force Tournament

The Casper College women's basketball team went 1-1 in the Air Force Prep tournament in Colorado Springs over the weekend with a loss to Midland, Texas and a win over Snow, Utah.on Friday, the Birds dropped a 59-52 decision to Midland with Casper making it to the free throw line just 3 times in the game. Midland went to the charity strip 23 times. Jaye Johnson led the T-Bird scoring with 13. Lucie Hoskova and Maggie Justinak each had 11. Casper rebounded on Saturday with a 49-48, despite scoring just 2 points in the 4th quarter. Hoskova had 17 points and Johnson contributed 11. C.C. is 8-4 on the year and will host the Wyoming All Stars on Friday at 5pm at the Erickson Gym
