It's been since November, and still no word on what happened to a famous roadside icon that has gone missing in Natrona County, and investigators are asking the public for help to bring it home.

The 4-foot green Sinclair dinosaur statue, valued at $8,000, was reported stolen from Sloane's General Store in Alcova, Wyoming, in the early morning hours of November 5, 2025, according to the Natrona County Sheriff’s Office.

Nothing yet? What the heck is the new owner doing with this thing? Is it in his garage, back yard, or maybe in the middle of this living room?

But that is not what I am here to do. Rather, I asked my radio listeners for the worst conspiracy theories they could think of.

It is not easy to steal one of those things; they are bolted down pretty well. Not just against theft but against Wyoming's famous winds.

So, let's not think like a detective. Put your tin hat on and let's ask the weird question. What would MULLER do? (TV show 'The X-Files', in case you are too young to remember).

Below is what listeners to Wyoming's morning radio talk show offered, by text messages.

Rifleman (Casper)
The dinosaurs came to life due to Global warming and wandered off.

Shorty (Casper)
The Alcova dinosaur wants to become the new Alcova mysterious Lochness monster...

Montana (Cheyenne)
Let’s just get it over with already. Trump stole the dinosaur, and it will soon become a member of his cabinet.

Muffy (Worland)
Rudolf retired, so Santa used some magic dust on the Dino to lead his sleigh this year. The magic dust you can’t get in California.

Wolfy (Campion)
Dino, from The Flintstones Stones is off looking for a mate to make little Dinos

Brad (Cheyenne)
The dinosaur at Alcova didn’t have a brand on it, so the Alcova brand inspector (Dick Fenster) had to round it up and quarantine it.

Frank (Laramie)
Dino got in the car with Fred and Wilma

There were also theories of UFOs abducting the dinosaur and taking it to a planet of dinosaurs.

Wyoming's Ceepiest Pet Cemetery

The writing on the stones shows that these people loved their pets so much that they wanted to take special care of them when they died.

Yet, approaching this place looks like something out of a Stephen King novel.
