Natrona’s Kaiden Lee Signs with Idaho State for Track
Natrona County high school track athlete Kaiden Lee will be headed to Idaho State University to continue his athletic journey. Lee competes in the jumping events in track and placed 2nd in the 4A high jump at the 2023 State Track Meet as he cleared 6-6. He finished 2nd to Cody's Robbie Porter who went 6-8. Lee placed 4th in the triple jump with a leap of 44-1.5 and 7th in the long jump at 20-8. In the 2023 indoor track season, Lee won the state title in the long jump at 45 feet even and also won the high jump at 6-4. He placed 2nd in the long jump and the Indoor Championships at 21-9.75.
In his sophomore season, Lee made a name for himself by winning the 4A outdoor state championship as he cleared 6-8 as Robbie Porter of Cody took 2nd at 6-6. Lee had a solid state meet in 2022 with a 2nd place finish in the triple jump at 44-11 and 3rd in the long jump at 21-11.25
In his freshman season back in 2021, Lee was 3rd in the 4A high jump at the state meet and placed 10th in the triple jump with a leap of 40-4.5
Idaho State is a Division I school that competes in the Big Sky Conference.
