There are certain days every year that always perk my ears up, and one of them is today, March 19, 2026. It's FREE ICE CREAM CONE DAY at Dairy Queen! I already love a good ice cream cone, but if you're telling me it's free, I love it even more.

Spring is officially on its way, and each year, the ice cream giant loves to ring in spring by offering up a sweet, frozen, creamy, delicious treat. If you're looking for a way to brighten your kids' day, what better way than a free ice cream cone? If you want to really impress them, you can dip the cone for just $1. Cherry, butterscotch, or chocolate dip can be added, with the proceeds from the day benefiting the Children's Miracle Network.

There are no strings attached—just pure, frozen fun. It’s the perfect excuse to grab your bestie, surprise the kids or simply treat yourself. However you choose to celebrate, Free Cone Day is all about savoring a moment of simple happiness. We can’t wait to see you there!

You also have through today to enter the Dairy Queen 'Free Cone Day' Sweepstakes, which is going to give some lucky ice cream fan free cones for a year! You can enter on the DQ app or at the DQ Free Cones website.

Wyoming Restaurants Featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives

It's hard not to take this a little personally. Guy Fieri of the Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives has visited the Cowboy State a few times. Yet each time he stays close to Jackson. The show takes us on a culinary voyage across the U.S, but he's never stopped in Cheyenne, Casper, or even Chugwater.
