KEMMERER, Wyo. (AP) — A 17-year-old from Idaho is accused of leading authorities from Wyoming and Idaho on a 100-mile chase in a stolen car.

The teen was arrested after allegedly stealing the 2006 Chrysler 300 from a job site in Green River on Saturday night and fleeing into Idaho as he was pursued by a Wyoming trooper.

The Wyoming State Patrol said the chase started after the trooper pulled the teen over outside Kemmerer. It said the teen sped off as the trooper approached.

Wyoming requested assistance from the Idaho State Patrol as the chase reached the border and a deputy from Bear Lake County, Idaho joined the Wyoming trooper before the chase entered Montpelier. Officers from the Soda Springs, Idaho police department ended the chase by spiking the teen's vehicle.
