Gutting Named New Casper College Men’s Basketball Coach

Casper College has promoted assistant coach Shaun Gutting as their new men's basketball coach, replacing Dan Russell who is leaving to join the staff at Montana State University. Gutting was an assistant with the men's team last season as they won 32 games and advanced to the National Junior College Tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas. Prior to coming to Casper, he was an assistant at New Mexico Junior College for 5 years, which included a trip to the national tournament. He coached high school basketball in Fort Collins and is a Colorado State University graduate who served as a student manager for the CSU basketball team under coach Tim Miles
