A resolution to improve a stretch of First Street will be considered during a Casper City Council regular session this Tuesday night.

According to the council packet for the meeting, the city is looking to spend roughly $2 million to improve a roughly 4,400-foot section of the street. Under the proposal, water line, curb and gutter, and mill and overlay work would be included in the project.

If approved, the city will expect the work to be completed by the end of November. The project will be paid for with one-cent funds, along with money from the arterials and collectors project and water fund reserves.

Casper City Council will meet this Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Casper City Hall.
