Extra Traffic Enforcement In Casper Results In 60 Tickets
They even told people where they were going to be.
The Casper Police Department says due to the high volume of traffic complaints they've been getting, they'll be conducting weekly high visibility traffic enforcement in various areas and they're letting the public know where they'll be by posting on their Facebook page.
Here's an update posted Friday from their latest effort:
"In the last two days Officer Douglas made 42 traffic stops in the schools zones located by Frontier Middle School and Manor Heights Elementary School. He issued 60 tickets for traffic violations. CPD takes the safety of our community’s children seriously and wants to make sure they are safe when they are walking to and from school. Please be mindful of your speed when driving through school zones."
We'll update you every week on where the enforcement areas will be, and the results of those efforts.
