Downed Power Line in Casper Closes Part of Second Street
Casper's Second Street closed Thursday afternoon due to a broken power line.
Repairs are underway. Meanwhile, Second Street remains closed between Country Club Road and Sun Drive. The number of customers affected by the downed line remains unclear.
it will likely be two to four hours before repairs can be completed, according to a news release from the City Manager's Office. People are asked to avoid the area until repairs are finished.
Across Wyoming, 14 outages have left 94 customers without power as of 12:45 p.m. Thursday.
The largest of those outages is between Mills and Vista West on U.S. Highway 20-26. Another outage has been reported off Poison Spider Road near Sixth Avenue. Together, the two outages affect 72 customers, according to Rocky Mountain Power.
