Crash Involving UW Marching Band, No Injuries Reported [UPDATED]
UPDATE:
Saturday's crash involving the University of Wyoming marching band was evidently caused in part by an icy roadway.
A parent says the crash occurred Saturday morning on Interstate 80, roughly an hour east of Rock Springs.
A pickup reportedly lost control and slid into the front driver's side of one bus carrying the band. No one was hurt, the parent says.
The bus was stopped for about 20 minutes before it was allowed to continue on its way.
The band ate dinner in Provo, Utah, before continuing on toward San Diego, where the Cowboys will play Brigham Young University in the Poinsettia Bowl on Wednesday.
