Casper City Council is scheduled to consider several big-ticket items at its upcoming Tuesday regular session.

Councilors will consider a $1.6 million construction bid from Sheridan-based Wright Brothers Construction for the new maintenance facility at the city-owned Casper Municipal Golf Course.

According to the packet, a deduction change order will take off about $209,000 from the final price tag for the new maintenance facility. A $69,000 construction contingency will push the final price tag to around $1.46 million.

Council will also decide whether it wants to authorize an over $283,000 giant video board purchase for the city's new dispatch and emergency operations center. Under that agreement, California-based Live Wall Media would supply one 6-foot-high by 19-foot-wide video board and a similar video board that’s about two feet shorter in height.

Council will also consider a $150,000 counseling and family services agreement with the Mercer Family Resource Center. Most of that money would come from remaining excess one-cent funds from last fiscal year.

The regular session is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Tuesday at Casper City Hall.
