City Council to Consider Street, Infrastructure Improvement Items
Casper City Council will consider several street repair and infrastructure improvement items during its scheduled regular session Tuesday night.
One item is an update to Country Club Road, essentially converting that road to a full city road with full curb and gutter, sidewalks and street lights between Wyoming Boulevard and Ardon Lane. If approved, the city will spend just under $140,000 in one-cent funds on the facelift to the former county road.
A second item will allocate $340,000 toward the city's annual asphalt repair project for water line replacement work. A third item totaling over $290,000 will allow for the installation of PVC liner to 9,500 feet of clay sewer pipe in so-called trouble areas outlined by the city’s waste water collections division.
City council is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m.
