Casper’s Jaye Johnson Signs with Cowgirl Basketball Program
Casper College basketball Jaye Johnson is taking the next step in her career by signing on with the Wyoming Cowgirls. Johnson enjoyed a solid prep career at Natrona County High School in Casper before moving on to Casper College. In two years with the T-Birds, Johnson played in 65 games and started 33 with 31 starts this past season. She averaged 11 points and 5 rebounds per game as the Birds went 27-7. The 5-10 forward was named to the Region IX all tournament team throwing in 9 points a game in post season play. Johnson joins McKinley Bradshaw of Lyman and Paige Powell from Cody as the in state recruits for the UW women's program.
