The Casper Police Department says the child who was abducted and released Wednesday morning was playing outside when they were taken by a man in a black pickup truck.

Releasing new details late Wednesday, police said that the child was taken at roughly 10:35 a.m. near the intersection of Southwest Wyoming Boulevard and South Coffman Avenue.
