Casper police arrested two on multiple felony charges Thursday afternoon following a string of events that began late Wednesday.

According to a Casper Police Department release, police responded to a call near the 800 block of East First Street for a reported vehicle theft at 11:56 p.m. Wednesday.

Just prior to that, officers were responding in the area to an unrelated call when they saw a vehicle speeding through the area and heard multiple gunshots.

A pursuit ensued. The stolen vehicle ultimately got away from officers for a short time.

Not long after, officers found the vehicle with its sole occupant near the 300 block of North Colorado. When officers ordered the suspect out, he instead rammed his vehicle into the officer's patrol car and fled the scene in the stolen vehicle, according to a release.

Hours of investigation later, Casper police had enough evidence to execute arrest and search warrants in the case, according to the news release.

While executing the warrant, officers found multiple reported stolen firearms. The Natrona County Special Response Team was also activated.

Tiedon Zufelt, 19, of Casper and Isaac Dorman, 22, also of Casper, were both arrested in relation to the incident.

More information will be released as it becomes available.

Multiple felony charges are pending.
