Casper police arrested a man after he allegedly took a hallucinogenic drug and ended up on the roof of a home.
Isiah Gerell Moore, 30, was arrested Wednesday on recommended charges of property damage, interference, being under the influence of a controlled substance, criminal trespass and breach of peace.
According to an affidavit of probable cause, a Casper police officer responded to a suspicious person report near West 21st Street and Walnut.
The officer found Moore in a backyard. Moore attempted to run away by jumping onto a fence and climbing onto the roof of a home, the affidavit says. Moore came down from the roof when the officer asked.
Moore told the officer that he was at a park flying kites when a friend when he thought someone was "after him," so he took off running through a yard. Moore also said he was hot and looking for a garden hose near a house until someone came out and scared him, the affidavit says.
Moore also allegedly told police that he was on PCP and extremely high.
In the affidavit, an officer notes that Moore is 6' 8" tall and weighs 300 lbs.
The affidavit says when officers attempted to put Moore in a patrol car, he allegedly began fighting back and headbutted the car's hood and left a dent. At some point during the struggle, Moore bit onto the door of the patrol car, leaving bite marks.
Moore reportedly told officers that he was extremely hot.
As the struggle went on, "Moore continued to yell to people who were not there, asking them to help him and spray him with their garden hose," the affidavit says.
Officers were eventually able to subdue Moore, who was taken to Wyoming Medical Center to be evaluated, according to the affidavit.
