Iron Chef Wyoming style happens next week when students from 17 Wyoming high schools compete in the Wyoming Hospitality Student Invitational in Casper.

One hundred fifty culinary and restaurant management students work for trophies, medals, and more than $650,000 in scholarships.

Lynn Berliffi, Executive Director of Wyoming Lodging and Restaurant Association says the public is invited to come and watch.

"One of the most fun parts of the competition is the culinary. In this competition either two to four students prepare a three course dinner on two Bunsen burners in an hour."

The Invitational, in its 12 year held brings together high school students in the Prostart Restaurant Management Program developed by the National Restaurant Association.

It happens next Monday and Tuesday, March 12 and 13,  at the Parkway Plaza.
